It was cold. Always so cold. Shivering, Emmy wrapped the threadbare shawl tighter around her thin shoulders, gently smoothing its frayed edges. It used to be a beautiful thing, lovingly knitted by old, rough hands with rich red wool and worn with pride by a little girl, but now it was grey and faded, like its wearer. Imagine if The World EndedBlack slowly faded to paint a terrible picture. Erik lifts his head, blood runs into his eyes, tinting the world crimson. Fingers clumsily work at his seatbelt, finally popping it free as he scrabbles at the door, trying to get out of the car. Around him the world is ending.

Stumbling away from the pileup, he rubs his eyes, it was really happening. The world around him is chaos and flame, ash rained from the heavens, slowly covering the numerous bodies littering the streets. It looks as if no one had survived save for him. If the World EndedImagine if the world ended. Chaos and fire reign supreme and bodies litter the streets, only a handful have survived and you're one of them. Picking yourself up, you would remember all that you hold dear to you and try to find it.
Imagine if your loved ones were far away. You don't know if they're safe or if they're trapped and scared, calling your name with each breath that takes them slowly closer to the end. If they could be dead or dying on some street corner, forgotten by all but you.

witty but obscure journal title

so i'm at my father's office making another scarf. his workspace is a complete mess and i'm surprised no ones said anything about it. i have a new red scarf that is weird and interesting and very very red. pictures may or may not be incoming. i also have tea and omnom is wearing a red headband and staring at the people who walk past randomly.

in other news, i got accepted by the school in australia i applied to but my parents do not want me to go for reasons that are kind of unsolid if you ask me. anyone have a spare ten grand to lend me?

cable is nice but i'm getting tired of watching spongebob. i never thought this day would come.
